Q: What is the specificity, sensitivity, and accuracy of your XALIVA® THC test?

A: The XALIVA® THC test detects the presence of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC) in saliva using a cut-off of 10 ng/mL. The Δ9-THC psychoactive parent drug contained in cannabis products causes impairment. The test will not detect non-psychoactive metabolites such as cannabidiol (CBD).

In an initial technology validation study performed in collaboration with Rutgers University, the XALIVA® THC test was 100% accurate compared to the gold-standard method, mass spectrometry. Ricovr Healthcare will publish and clearly label the specificity, sensitivity, and accuracy of the XALIVA® THC test in the product literature.
